es in Oregon, came into town, so we invited a few people over to hang out. August 19th 2009.

Jody's hard work, from scratch (haha) all completed. We picked up the sand and the gravel and Jody built the sandbox with wood from the good old Home Depot.

Kevin, Jody and Trajan were/are best friends. I am not sure if I have ever hung out with the three of them together, but they are hilarious so I am sure it would be a fun time.

One the way home from Midway, we decided to take the really scenic route and we drove through the mountains, past Cascade Springs, to AF Canyon and then we took the mountains between Highland and Draper to get back to her house. I think we drove for like 2 hours lol. This pic is from the mountains just behind Midway and the water is Deer Creek.

Cafe Galleria with Nicole; Midway, UT. YUMMY pizza. and salad. and gelato (we did not have that this time though). Then we headed to Granny's for a shake. Nicole is having a baby girl in the next few weeks! PS love that mantra. I love dessert.

Jody belongs to a triathlon club called the Desert Sharks. They had a BBQ at the park this past Saturday and here are some pics from that.

Under There?

So Jody and Ethan are playing the "Ethan, what is under there?" and Ethan asks,"Under where" And Jody says, "hahaha I just made you say underwear" game. So now Ethan is asking everyone that and he asked Sydney. And she said, "Under the sea?!" HAHAHA she is so into the Little Mermaid (every morning she asks if she can watch Ariel). It was a good little chuckle for Jody and I.

Free Weekend

My kids have been away this weekend, they stayed with Jenni. SO I thought I would post while

they are still gone and I love them, haha.

• Aidan had so much fun at Jody's high school 20 year reunion yesterday. SO much attention, he LOVED it! Must be related to JOdy! LOL
• Kids grow so fast! I went to get some socks for Ethan and I could not find any. Where do socks go when they have not been in the laundry or worn for a couple months??? So I finally found a pair and they had huge holes in them. I found Sydney's shoes that she has not work in a couple months, too small! AHHH! So yesterday, I went and bought them some essentials-- socks and undershirts. They should be all set for the next 9 months till they don't fit any more! Now for the shoes...
• I am sure Ethan is going to look in his closet and
• Ethan and Sydney had a fun weekend with Jenni. They went to the Utah County Fair, a picnic, and I am sure they did other fun things that mom does not do with them ;)
• Sydney had fun getting dolled up by Jenni. Curling, straightening, doing hair. Doing makeup, taking pics. She loves all the girly stuff!
• I want a goat. Maybe some chickens too.
• I love brown sugar. YUM.
• I recently acquired a wheat grinder (thank you, you know who you are!) and I am so excited about it! I ground wheat a couple weeks ago and made bread with it. I feel so domestic.
• Snowbird is beautiful in the summer.
• Aidan loves rolling over but he still does not really roll back. He eats the carpet a lot (nasty) cause I stopped putting blankets under him when they spent most their time around his head...

This concludes my random post of the day. I am even late in posting it, since it is now Tuesday. But no worries, I am posting it as Sunday!

My uncle Ryan and his wife, Karen had a baby. They named him Magnus Ryan Kenney, Gus for short. So here he is with the kids. He was born on August 11th at 6:45. Big boy, too

Wasted Day?

So I am writing this to feel better about how lazy I feel. I have not accomplished a whole lot the last couple of days. Maybe I am still recovering from the go go go of last week (which is why I should be cleaning, I did not have time for it last week!) or who knows. I DO know that my kitchen is not worthy of cooking in, or eating in for that matter. SO today, I did not do a whole lot, though I did wash some clothes. I spent lots of time with Aidan. Laying by him on the floor, feeding him, as always, and other things like that. We bonded. Is it a waste cause my house is still nasty or was it a good thing cause my baby and I loved each other a lot?
