I just wanted to get a plug in for pinchingyourpennies.com -- of course they are having a contest, but its a handy site. I just became a fan of them on Facebook and found out that Smith's in AF is closing down and having EXCELLENT sales. I am going to head there tomorrow (after my garage saling). I enjoy using their shopping lists, etc and best of all? Its free! You can use the site to check whichever stores you want to go to or just compare stores. You can look up what Smith's sales are and they will tell you if there is also a coupon for that item and which week it came in the paper. They also put stars next to each sale, 2-4 or 5, to tell you if its a GREAT deal or just okay. Anyway I like it. :)

Forget Old Navy!

Okay not really, but I decided to do something a little different this year. I saw this here and was inspired. Which is good cause it was the whole purpose of the post. I had a big ink fiasco (was out, tried to get filled, did not work, had to go to Costco along with the rest of the planet, etc), but other than that, it went great! Then I printed. Looked great. Then I ironed on. I am not an expert and I have a few things I will definitely do different next time. Lark darken the red. It looks light here, well you should see it now! It said to wash before wearing so I did. The colors are faded. I am trying really hard not to swear as I write.

I will however, be doing this again! I have a cute St Patrick's day kit and would love to make shirts with it. I love digital scrapping stuff, its so freaking cool. I had some space I did not want to waste, so I printed out some cute owls and other stuff to iron on some of Syd's shirts. FUN!

Surprise!

It was my birthday. I was hungry but no one was moving. To make dinner at home or go somewhere. Jody had been texting so many people. He cleaned off our counter (love it empty but it rarely is). I received a random text from Erica about overtime. Other little things that may or may not have meant anything, but they did! I heard people outside, coming up the walk, then the doorbell rang and Jody just sat there waiting. So I was like umm... okay I will get it! Not too long before, the doorbell rang and he ran to get it.

Surprise!!! The surprise party came to my house!

I did not get pics of everyone there, unfortunately. What a bummer! I missed Hailey & Adam, Kelli & Roger, Becca, Grandma Harrison, Rachelle, Alan, and Cindy. I may have missed more, but I am still looking and remembering! Thanks to everyone who came. I know it was a last minute effort and Jody was not sure who to invite, etc.

It was a way fun party and I am so glad that people came to hang out and have a good time. I have the best family and friends anyone could ask for :) Thanks Jenni and Erica for helping Jody pull it off!

The next night, we went to Texas Roadhouse with Seth and Nicole. I signed up for lots of places' clubs online and they send you free stuff. This was to take advantage of a free appetizer for my birthday. Yes, I am wearing the same thing as the night before. You can not tell by the pic but Nicole is like 6 months prego.
